Premier Basketball is one of the fastest-growing youth basketball organizations in the country, serving thousands of athletes across multiple states through nationally recognized programming and elite player development.
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated Senior Director of Development & Operations to lead and grow our Denver Metro Area basketball programs while expanding our Northern Colorado presence. What You'll DoProgram Leadership
- Provide leadership for Premier Basketball's Colorado Program (6th–11th Grade).
- Lead the continued growth and expansion of our Northern Colorado region.
- Ensure Premier Basketball standards and culture are implemented consistently across all teams.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives that increase participation and elevate program quality.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on organizational planning and long-term growth.
Coach Recruitment & Development
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain outstanding coaches.
- Mentor coaches through regular evaluations and professional development.
- Lead coach education meetings and leadership initiatives.
- Build a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Player Recruitment & Development
- Recruit talented athletes throughout Colorado.
- Develop and oversee player development pathways.
- Lead skill development clinics, camps, and training opportunities.
- Identify and support elite athletes pursuing college basketball opportunities.
Operations & Logistics
- Coordinate seasonal practice schedules and facility usage.
- Build tournament schedules and oversee team participation.
- Manage day-to-day basketball operations.
- Ensure outstanding communication with athletes, coaches, and families.
- Deliver a first-class experience across all programs.
College Recruiting
- Lead Premier Basketball's college recruiting initiatives.
- Guide families through the recruiting process.
- Build relationships with college coaches nationwide.
- Track recruiting progress for high school athletes.
- Help athletes maximize collegiate opportunities.
Program Growth
- Expand Colorado middle school and high school programming.
- Grow the Northern Colorado region.
- Build partnerships with schools, coaches, and community organizations.
- Identify new opportunities to strengthen Premier Basketball's impact throughout Colorado.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking an experienced leader with a passion for developing athletes, coaches, and basketball programs. Former NCAA collegiate and professional athletes, as well as current or former collegiate coaches, are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates with elite club basketball leadership experience and a proven ability to build successful programs are also encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent coaching and leadership experience.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of coaching, program management, or sports administration experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading coaches, staff, or large youth sports programs.
- Strong knowledge of youth basketball, player development, and team operations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple programs, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills with players, families, coaches, and community partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Played basketball at the NCAA collegiate or professional level, or has coaching experience at the collegiate, professional, or elite club level.
- Experience leading a multi-team youth basketball or club sports organization.
- Knowledge of the college recruiting landscape and NCAA recruiting process.
- Experience recruiting, evaluating, and retaining high-level athletes.
- Experience planning tournaments, leagues, or large-scale basketball events.
- Proven ability to grow programs through strategic planning, relationship building, and community engagement.

Compensation & Incentives: Base Salary
Base: $50,000 annually
Uncapped Performance Commissions
Your earning potential grows alongside the program.
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $69,000+ annually, with the opportunity to earn significantly more through uncapped commissions.
