Full Job Description

Littleton Care and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Dietary Aide to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents in a supportive, collaborative, and growth-focused environment. You will be part of a dedicated, leadership-driven team that is fully committed to the success of the facility. We provide unwavering support throughout your professional journey to ensure your continued growth and success.

This position will be open for a minimum of 3 days and will remain open until a top candidate is identified.

Position Title: Dietary Aide

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Littleton, Co

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour. Pay is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience.

Duties

Assist with meal preparation, portioning, and food presentation in compliance with dietary guidelines and resident needs
Serve meals to residents courteously, ensuring proper adherence to dietary restrictions and preferences
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and dining areas following food safety protocols and JCAHO standards
Operate kitchen equipment safely, including ovens, dishwashers, and serving utensils, while adhering to workplace safety regulations
Support food handling procedures, including bussing tables, cleaning dishes, and sanitation tasks to promote a hygienic environment
Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying staff of stock levels or shortages
Follow manual handling practices for heavy lifting and safe movement of food items or equipment

Qualifications

Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and safe lifting practices is highly desirable
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
Strong customer service skills with a compassionate approach to working with geriatric patients
Basic math skills for accurate portioning and inventory counts
Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and adhering to dietary requirements is a plus
CPR certification or willingness to obtain it upon hire is preferred
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining attention to detail.
