CNC Machinist

As a CNC Machinist, you will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing facility, ensuring precision and quality in the production of machined parts. Your expertise in Programming CNC lathes and Mills and your mechanical knowledge will drive efficiency and excellence in our operations. Join us in creating high-quality products while working in a dynamic and supportive environment!

What you’ll do

Operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining.
Perform CNC programming and CAM programming to optimize production processes.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions.
Conduct quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process to maintain high standards.
Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient workflow and materials handling.
Maintain equipment, tools, and work area to ensure a safe and organized workspace.

Basic qualifications

Solid understanding of CNC operations, including CNC lathe and CNC milling machine experience.
Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
Proficient in using CAD software, such as SolidWorks, for design purposes.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with Fanuc systems and programmable logic controllers (PLC).
Previous factory or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Ability to operate forklifts safely within the facility.
