Movely is looking for an experienced Household Goods Crew Lead who wants more than just another moving job.
This is a leadership role for someone who already knows how to run a moving crew and wants the opportunity to grow into operations management as our company expands.
You’ll lead 2–6 person crews, run various moving jobs, and help develop newer movers while maintaining a professional and efficient job site.
We focus on residential moves, packing services, and light junk removal with high-end customer service. Our approach is simple: equip our crews properly so they can work efficiently, safely, and professionally. We invest in the right trucks, tools, and moving equipment so our teams can focus on doing the job right.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage moving crews (typically 2–4 person teams)
- Ensure safe, efficient, and professional moving operations
- Perform high-quality moving, packing, and basic junk removal services
- Safely operate 26ft box trucks.
- Oversee proper loading and protection of household goods
- Assemble and reassemble basic furniture
- Manage job details and process payments using our tablet-based software
- Maintain strong customer communication and professionalism on-site
- Support and guide newer movers to help them improve their skills
- Help maintain a positive, team-focused work environment
Qualifications
- 2+ years professional household goods moving experience
- Experience leading or running moving crews
- Experience driving 26-foot box trucks (CDL not required)
- Trailer experience (bumper-pull or gooseneck) is a plus
- Strong loading, logistics, and protection skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy furniture
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record (MVR) and background check required
Pay & Perks
$26 – $30 per hour depending on experience
**For strong, reliable crew leads, we are willing to guarantee a minimum weekly hour threshold during slower periods to provide income stability for team members who consistently perform at a high level.
This is offered to proven crew leads who demonstrate reliability, leadership, and strong customer service.
