Rady Children's Physician Management Services (RCPMS) offers exciting opportunities for qualified candidates to join our rapidly growing organization. We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Rady Children's Health with just over 600 employees. RCPMS supports primary care pediatricians with 33 office locations throughout San Diego and Southern Riverside Counties.

RCPMS seeks a friendly, motivated, dependable individual for our open Medical Billing (also known as Account Analyst) position at our Kearny Mesa Corporate Office.

Full time hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

Responsibilities:

Verifies claim status and appeal to insurance companies when needed.
Verifies member eligibility through web portal or by contacting the insurance companies directly.
Handles incoming patient and insurance calls.
Processes insurance claims and patient statements in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Medical Billing/CHDP knowledge.
Minimum 1 year of medical office billing required (2-5 years preferred)
CPT and ICD 10 coding knowledge, training preferred.
Must be proficient in math, 10 key by touch, spreadsheet formulas.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

The pay range for this position is $21.43-$35.72 per hour.

The generally expected starting rate is $21.43-$28.58 per hour. The exact starting compensation for this position will be dependent upon a variety of factors including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
