Full Job Description

Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, where you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in advanced imaging modalities like CT scans to assist in accurate diagnosis and patient care. You will work within a fast-paced environment that values precision, technical proficiency, and compassionate patient interaction. Your skills will directly contribute to effective diagnostic evaluations.

Responsibilities

Perform computed tomography scans with precision, ensuring optimal image quality for diagnostic purposes across various body systems.
Operate specialized imaging equipment such as PET scanners, mammography units, DEXA scanners for bone density assessments, and ultrasound devices for sonography procedures.
Apply thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology to position patients correctly and tailor imaging techniques to individual needs.
Maintain strict aseptic techniques during procedures to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to interpret images accurately and facilitate diagnostic radiology assessments.
Ensure all imaging procedures comply with safety standards, medical terminology protocols, and departmental policies for medical imaging practices.

Requirements

Certified or licensed as a Radiologic Technologist with specialized training in computed tomography.
Proven experience performing CT scans in diverse clinical environments.
Familiarity with nuclear medicine procedures such as PET scans and DEXA scans is desirable.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
Proficiency in sonography, mammography, X-ray imaging, and other diagnostic radiology modalities is advantageous.
