About FMO Media
FMO Media is a fast-growing digital marketing agency specializing in paid media, social-first content, and video-driven growth for professional service brands (law firms, mortgage companies, real estate, health and wellness, and more).
Video is at the core of everything we do - and we’re looking for a self-sufficient videographer + editor who can own the full production process from shoot day through final delivery.
Role Overview
This is a hybrid production role for someone who loves being on-site, understands social media video, and can execute a creative vision independently.
You’ll travel regionally to client film shoots (typically 3-8 shoots per month), capture high-quality content, organize footage cleanly, and edit the videos yourself - no handoff to another editor.
Each shoot typically produces:
45–60 short-form videos, and up to 100 videos for heavy talking-head or educational shoots
You’ll be responsible for maintaining consistency, quality, and efficiency at scale.
Responsibilities
Pre-Production

- Skits, b-roll, and branded moments
- Direct talent as needed to keep energy high and content flowing
Post-Production & Editing
- Catalog, organize, and label footage immediately after shoots
- Edit content yourself to deliver FMO Media’s standards
- Apply brand-specific edits (fonts, captions, pacing, hooks, transitions)
- Ensure files are correctly named and ready for internal upload systems
Creative Ownership
- Execute the intended vision of each video - not just “cut clips”
- Make smart creative decisions when direction is implied but not explicit
- Maintain consistency across high-volume content batches
Required Qualifications
- Must live within 30-45 minute drive of a major airport
- Proven experience as a videographer and editor (portfolio required)
- Strong understanding of short-form social video
- Comfortable filming and editing high-volume content
- Experience with talking-head content, b-roll, and skits
- Proficient in tools like:
- Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / After Effects / CapCut (professional-level)
- Highly organized
- Clean cut and presentable
- Able to work independently and manage time across multiple shoots
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel regionally
Preferred
- Residing in Michigan, Colorado, Florida, and Texas is a plus.
- Experience working with professional service brands
- Understanding of paid ads vs. organic content
- Experience following structured film agendas
- Familiarity with agency workflows and fast turnarounds
- Comfort directing clients who are not “camera people”

- A passive “wait for direction” position
Why You’ll Love This Role
