Full Job Description

Job Summary

Rocky Mountain Pharmacy is looking for a part-time or full-time pharmacist. We need someone with experience who can work in a fast-paced, friendly environment. Compounding experience is a plus.

Rocky Mountain Pharmacy is located in beautiful Estes Park near the historic Stanley Hotel and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. We recently installed a ScriptPro Dispensing Robot, Scriptclip bin management, and Vow Pharmacy communications system to help make our pharmacy up to date with the latest technology.

Pharmacist duties include:

Greets patients in a friendly manner in person and by phone; answering questions and requests
Maintains pharmacy inventory; removing outdated drugs.
Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintains records by recording and filing prescriptions.
Maintaining proper storage and security conditions for drugs
Answering telephones, responding to questions or requests (either by patient, doctor, or insurance companies)
Prepacking bulk medicines, filling bottles with prescribed medications, and typing and affixing labels
Mixing pharmaceutical preparations, according to written prescriptions
Assisting Pharmacy technicians
Requirements:
Licensure requirements: Must have valid, open and active Colorado Pharmacist license
Education : R.Ph or Pharm D
Years of experience: 1+ year(s) of recent pharmacy experience within a retail setting

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $60.00 - $67.00 per hour
