Full Job Description

Overview
Agora Law Group, PLLC is a firm that specializes in intellectual property. Our firm is searching for a paralegal with experience in patents/IP. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience and an engineering background. Onboarding/training will be provided on site. This is an in-person, part time position with an hourly range of $25-$35/hour; exact compensation will depend on experience and performance. Start date November 2025.

Duties
As a Paralegal, your primary responsibilities will include:

Prepare legal documents for patent applications/office action responses
Maintain case files/firm docket
Communicate with clients, USPTO, firm staff
Assist attorneys/agents on various tasks as necessary.

Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

1+ years of paralegal experience in patents/IP recommended
Engineering background preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Proficiency in Korean and/or Chinese (writing and reading) preferred
Detail-oriented, highly productive, able to work independently and efficiently in a high-paced environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
