AllWorld Language Consultants, Inc. (ALC) is a consulting firm that provides a wide range of technical and professional services, including translation, interpretation, transcription, Title III intercepts, multimedia production, training, and intelligence support.
We are currently seeking to fill 2 Mid-Level Cartographer/Cartographic Analyst positions in Springfield, VA.
We are also seeking to fill 2 Jr. Imagery Analyst positions.
Candidates must possess a current active TS/SCI security clearance and be willing to obtain a CI Polygraph to be considered for this position. The CI Polygraph will be administered after the employment start date.
The position description and minimum qualifications are as follows:
Spanish Production Specialist/Cartographer - Middle (1st Shift)
Work Location: Springfield, VA
Primary Responsibilities:
- Produce and review national and international Foundation Data supporting map and chart production at various scales.
- Analyze and evaluate Foundation Data for quality assurance, including coverage, accuracy, currency, completeness, and applicability to mission and data requirements.
- Participate in technical exchanges with Government and partner personnel at Government facilities, partner locations, and virtual collaboration environments worldwide.
- Support Foundation Data production by developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), creating training guides, documenting best practices, and training team members.
- Ensure a current and accurate International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) exemption is maintained for all requested support involving partner interactions.
Basic Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree and/or 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 combined points experience points as defined by the customer.
- 1-3 years demonstrated experience performing data extraction and Imagery analysis using ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro/MAXAR.
- 1-3 years demonstrated experience completing timely and accurate foundation data reviews.
- 1-3 years demonstrated experience performing foundation data quality control / quality assurance analysis using GAIT/QAC software program.
- Demonstrated experience understanding of and application of foundation data methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience to produce foundation data products.
- Previous experience in Nautical Maritime domains.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A high degree of professional proficiency in Spanish to effectively communicate and document in an operational environment.
- Proficiency in common the Technical Reference Document TRDv.4.x and UTRDV.1.x.
- Demonstrated experience to communicate with clarity and accuracy both verbally and written (including virtually environments).
- Data extraction in support of crisis operations, geospatial Digital Twin, or Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML).
- Familiarity with emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, tools, and methodologies, with an understanding of their applications, implications, and integration into daily geospatial and intelligence workflows.
Middle-Level Cartographer(2nd Shift)
Work Location: Springfield, VA/Chantilly, VA
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work within a government/contractor team environment providing Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion, Production, and Review.
- Support existing and developing mission areas, including Digital Nautical Chart or Electronic Nautical Chart Conversion production.
- Perform cartographic and GIS analysis by extracting features from various sources, such as rasterized nautical charts, digital hydrographic survey data, and ortho-rectified imagery.
Basic Qualifications:
- A total of 5 points of relevant background via one of the following pathways:
- High School diploma and 5 years of relevant military or full-time geospatial professional experience.
- High School diploma and 4 years of experience plus GPC Level I and II certification.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in geography, cartography, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), with proficiency in ArcGIS applications.
- Knowledge of digital cartography, GIS production techniques, and NGA digital data formats.
- Ability to analyze imagery and non-imagery source data for hydrographic products and databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Nautical Maritime domains.
Jr. Imagery Analyst (1st Shift)
Work Location: Springfield, VA or Chantilly, VA
Primary Responsibilities:
- Active TS/SCI
- HS Diploma and at least 3 years of relevant imagery analysis experience.
- Preferred candidates should have completed Formal/Advanced Military IA Training (Tech School, Advanced Individual Training, A School, or other MOS/AFSC/Rate granting equivalent)
- Ability to produce dynamic GEOINT products
- Strong knowledge of soft copy exploitation and multi-spectral exploitation functionalities.
- Strong knowledge of the following systems and software programs: REMOTEVIEW, IEC, NES, and common office software to include PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, and word processing.
- Ability to incorporate multiple data sources.
- Strong time management skills
- Reporting experience (preferred)
