Full Job Description

HealthBay® Medspa offers modern aesthetic and wellness services to patients throughout the Bay Area. We are rapidly growing and seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse who is passionate about laser hair removal and providing an exceptional patient experience.

Position: Laser Hair Removal Registered Nurse
Schedule: Part-time with the potential to become full-time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform laser hair removal treatments in accordance with established protocols, standardized procedures, manufacturer guidelines, and applicable regulations.
Review each patient’s medical history, medications, allergies, previous treatment response, and contraindications before treatment.
Assess skin type, hair characteristics, and treatment area to determine appropriate laser settings within established clinical protocols.
Conduct consultations and educate patients about laser hair removal, expected results, treatment timelines, and the importance of completing a recommended treatment series.
Provide clear pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions.
Obtain required consents and ensure all documentation is complete before treatment.
Accurately document treatment areas, device settings, patient tolerance, clinical response, and any adverse reactions.
Monitor patients throughout treatment and promptly escalate concerns or adverse reactions according to company protocol.
Maintain treatment-room cleanliness and follow infection-control, OSHA, HIPAA, and patient-safety requirements.
Properly clean and prepare laser equipment and treatment rooms between patients.
Maintain a patient-focused attitude through professionalism, cooperation, respect, and helpfulness toward patients, visitors, physicians, coworkers, and supervisors.
Support patient retention by delivering consistent treatments, education, and excellent customer service.

Minimum Qualifications

Current and unrestricted California Registered Nurse license.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent customer service, professionalism, reliability, and integrity.
Ability to follow clinical protocols and maintain accurate documentation.
One to two years of nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Previous laser hair removal experience is preferred but not required.
Training may be provided to the right candidate.
Ability to commit to a consistent schedule two to three days per week.
Saturday availability and commitment are required.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
