Full Job Description

Welcome to JetStream Lending! We are an established Company seeking finance candidates to round out our hardworking team. We are looking for people who want to excel in the mortgage business. We have a paid training period whereby our advisors learn about the industry and how to maximize their skill sets to service people in 23 states. The sky is the limit for people with a strong work ethic and desire to help others.

Initial Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Vice President to assist in tasks relevant to a Mortgage Advisor
- Learn all aspects of a credit report and how it translates into loan approval
- Advance existing skills in outbound calling to acquire leads
- Learn how to calculate interest rates and new payments based on market
- Learn the ins and outs of the mortgage business as a whole
- Learn how to assist clients in completing mortgage applications
- Evaluate client creditworthiness and financial information to determine loan eligibility
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, including TILA and Fair Housing regulations
- Build and maintain relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the mortgage process
- Ready yourself to take the National NMLS test to become a Senior Mortgage Advisor

Qualifications:
- Possess an insatiable drive to be the best you can be
- Learn through training In-depth knowledge of loan origination/mortgage lending processes
- Motivated to learn various loan programs, including Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans
- Strong desire to understand underwriting guidelines and financial sales principles
- Currently possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Learn how to analyze financial data and provide accurate recommendations
- Learn how to be proficient in using mortgage software systems
