Full Job Description

Full-Time Pharmacist – Daphne, AL

An independent specialty pharmacy in the Daphne area is seeking a motivated Pharmacist to join our team. This position offers approximately 40 hours per week in a professional, team-oriented environment.

Schedule

Monday – Friday
No weekends
1st shift 8:30am - 5pm OR 2nd shift 3pm - 11pm

Qualifications

Ability to work under supervision while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
Strong teamwork skills with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
Excellent attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Prepare and assist in medication preparation by reviewing and interpreting physician orders
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
Assist with maintaining pharmacy records and documentation
Maintain all required licenses and certifications in good standing
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and professional standards
Adhere to all state and federal pharmacy regulations, including those governed by the State Board of Pharmacy, DEA, and FDA

Requirements

Active Alabama Pharmacist license in good standing
Parenteral license required
Sterile compounding experience preferred, but not required
