5280 Community Waste Solutions provides Door-to-Door Waste Collection and large item bulk removal for multi-family communities throughout Colorado.
The Team Lead is a key onsite leadership role reporting directly to the Director of Operations. This position plays a vital role in achieving operational excellence by overseeing various areas such as staffing, training, professional development, inventory control, safety compliance, and internal systems efficiency.
A core responsibility of the Team Lead is to provide exceptional internal and external customer service and overall service growth goals.
Successful candidates for this role will demonstrate a proactive approach in utilizing analytical insights derived from financial and efficiency reporting to drive the implementation and management of best practices in all our operations. By leveraging these insights, the On-site Operations Supervisor will optimize processes, improve productivity, and ensure the overall success of the trash collection process.
Hourly Pay Range: $23.00-$24.00 per hour (401k plan, company matching after specified time frame)
The final compensation offered will be determined based on various factors, including the candidate's location, level of experience, and skill set. As such, it may fall outside the range listed above.
Responsibilities Include but Not Limited to the Following:
1) Will work on-site 4-6 times per week at multiple locations.
2) Manage the opening of new properties with notice set forth.
3) Ability to begin workday at 6pm and work until 9:30pm Sunday-Thursday, and 8:00am-11:00am on Saturdays. Fridays off. Additional hours may be required.
4) Lead, motivate, coach, and support a team of Trash Collectors.
5) Hold trash collectors accountable for accurate scheduling and daily timecard management.
6) Use of company application systems to ensure compliance through consistent communication, training, and development of all trash collectors.
7) Conduct community site visits to ensure adherence to service standards by staff and residents alike.
8) Enforce safety compliance, documentation of safety concerns, and proactive identification of near misses.
9) Coordinate fleet training, maintenance, vehicle inspections, and fuel transactions. (approved company drivers only)
10) Manage adoption, implementation, tracking, and completion of assigned tasks.
11) Perform other duties as assigned (additional compensation as deemed appropriate).
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 1-3 years of leadership experience, including budgeting and reporting.

Ability to communicate and respond to Director of Operations and company leadership in an expeditious manner.

Proven track record in implementing effective business remediation practices.

Demonstrated success in managing and developing teams through strong leadership and mentorship.

Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint.

Strong analytical skills with experience working with spreadsheets and data.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with superior interpersonal skills.

Ability to build collaborative relationships with team members and colleagues.

Strong project management, organizational, attention to detail, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Customer service experience and a strong customer service focus.

Basic knowledge of human resource practices, including talent acquisition and performance management.

Physical Requirements and Special Conditions of Employment:

This position requires that you can lift and/or carry up to 50lbs, walk distances including up and down stairs, bend at waist and/or knees and lift arms at/over shoulders.

Ability to be exposed to disagreeable odors.

Valid drivers license and ability to operate your own vehicle or possible company vehicle in a manner consistent with local and state rules and regulations and company policy.
- Ability to begin workday at 6pm pm and work until 9:30pm on Sunday-Thursday, and 8:00am-11:00am on Saturdays. Fridays off. Additionally, be on call during irregular hours depending on business needs.
Education And Experience Requirements

- Prior experience in service management or property management preferred
