ProVantage Corporate Solutions
100% National Travel | Salaried Exempt | Primarily Overnight Field Work
ProVantage Corporate Solutions is seeking a Site Manager to lead larger, more complex, and new customer field projects across the country. This role sits between our Lead and Field/Project Manager positions and is designed for an experienced field leader who can own execution at the jobsite level, develop future Leads, and keep teams focused in demanding field conditions.
The Site Manager serves as the primary on-site ProVantage representative for assigned projects. This person leads Leads and team members, drives quality execution, maintains team morale, updates required project reporting through Cruxos and client systems, and helps ensure projects are completed safely, professionally, and according to plan.
This is a 100% travel role. Site Managers should expect to remain on-site for the duration of assigned projects and work primarily overnight shifts.
The right Site Manager is a structured, detail-driven field leader who can bring order, discipline, and accountability to a fast-moving jobsite. This person likes clear standards, accurate information, strong documentation, and well-executed plans — but is also comfortable making practical decisions when field conditions change.
This is not a routine desk role. It requires someone who can work long hours, manage interruptions, lead through pressure, and keep people aligned when priorities shift. The ideal candidate is factual, direct, analytical, and hands-on enough to understand the work, while still operating primarily as the person responsible for leading the team and driving execution.
We are looking for someone who:
- Takes pride in mastering the work and becoming a technical expert.
- Brings structure, discipline, and follow-through to the jobsite.
- Communicates clearly, directly, and factually.
- Notices details others miss and acts before small issues become larger problems.
- Can lead teams through overnight work, travel, pressure, and changing field conditions.
- Holds high standards for quality, safety, documentation, and professionalism.
- Builds trust with team members while maintaining accountability.
- Can train, coach, and evaluate future Lead candidates.
- Works well within systems, processes, project plans, and reporting expectations.
- Has the stamina to manage long hours, travel, interruptions, and field-level problem solving.
- Lead on-site execution for larger, more complex, or new customer projects.
- Serve as the primary on-site ProVantage representative for client field contacts.
- Manage Leads and team members, with teams ranging from approximately 5 to 40 employees.
- Follow project plans created by the operations team and ensure work is completed according to scope, quality standards, safety expectations, and client requirements.
- Bring structure to daily field execution by assigning work, monitoring progress, maintaining team morale, and addressing execution issues in real time.
- Use Cruxos and client-required reporting tools to provide accurate project updates, documentation, photos, issue tracking, and closeout information.
- Review blueprints, planograms, build plans, scope documents, and project instructions to guide field execution.
- Identify quality, staffing, morale, safety, or schedule risks and escalate or resolve them appropriately.
- Train, coach, and evaluate Lead candidates in partnership with the Training Manager.
- Administer progressive discipline and participate in employment-related decisions consistent with company policy.
- Participate in project closeout, punch-list review, issue resolution, and final field-level completion activities.
- Perform hands-on installation or merchandising work as needed to support execution after the team is started.
- Promote a safe, professional, values-driven jobsite culture.
- 3+ years of fixture installation, retail construction, merchandising, remodel, or related field execution experience.
- Prior team leadership experience required.
- Experience directing field crews, assigning work, monitoring quality, and addressing performance or behavioral issues.
- Experience reading and executing from blueprints, planograms, build plans, scope documents, or client instructions.
- Experience with retail fixture installation, steel shelving, racking, remodels, resets, merchandising, or comparable field execution work.
- Ability to lead in a structured project environment while adapting to changing field conditions.
- Ability to travel nationally up to 100% of the time.
- Ability to work primarily overnight shifts, generally 5 days per week and 8–10 hours per shift.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to use mobile applications, email, timekeeping tools, Cruxos, and client-required reporting systems.
- Experience leading teams in big-box retail, national retail, or multi-location rollout environments.
- Experience managing teams of 10 or more employees in a field, construction, retail services, or project-based environment.
- Prior experience as a ProVantage Lead or comparable field leadership role.
- OSHA 10, OSHA 30, forklift, scissor lift, or other relevant safety/equipment certifications.
- Experience training or preparing employees for future leadership roles.
This position requires 100% national travel. Site Managers are expected to remain on-site for the full duration of assigned projects. Most work is performed on overnight shifts, generally 5 days per week and 8–10 hours per shift, with flexibility required based on project and client needs.
Site Managers may occasionally support more than one nearby project location when sites are within reasonable proximity, generally within approximately 30–50 miles.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, lift, carry, push, pull, and perform physical work in an active retail, construction, or installation environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work overnight shifts and remain active throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in active retail environments, construction-like settings, and customer-facing jobsites.
- Ability to comply with all company, client, and jobsite safety requirements, including required personal protective equipment.
