Position Summary
Training and Provider Support Coordinator is responsible for supporting the effective use, administration, training, and continuous improvement of the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and related data systems. This position serves as a key resource for staff and partner agencies by providing system training, technical assistance, user support, data quality monitoring, and documentation development. The position works closely with program leadership, data staff, and external partners to ensure accurate data collection, compliance with federal and state reporting requirements, and effective utilization of HMIS to support program operations and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
HMIS Training and Learning Development
- Design, coordinate, and deliver HMIS training programs for staff and partner agencies.
- Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, reference documents, and e-learning resources.
- Facilitate new user onboarding and role-based training programs.
- Conduct refresher trainings and targeted learning sessions based on identified needs.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and implement continuous improvements.
System Administration and User Support
- Provide technical assistance and day-to-day support to HMIS users.
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolutions with HMIS vendors and administrators.
- Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts in accordance with established policies.
- Support system configuration, workflow improvements, and user adoption initiatives.
- Assist with implementation of system enhancements and new functionality.
Data Quality and Compliance
- Monitor data quality standards and assist programs in resolving data errors and inconsistencies.
- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance reviews.
- Support compliance with HUD, state, local, and Continuum of Care reporting requirements.
- Develop reports and dashboards that help programs improve performance and data integrity.
- Assist in maintaining data governance and security standards.
- Documentation and Process Improvement
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of workflows, policies, procedures, and training resources.
- Identify opportunities to improve system utilization and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with program staff to streamline data collection and reporting processes.
- Participate in testing and rollout of system updates and enhancements.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as a liaison between program staff, leadership, HMIS administrators, vendors, and community partners.
- Coordinate HMIS-related committees, workgroups, and collaborative initiatives.
- Support agency-wide data literacy and continuous quality improvement efforts.
- Contribute to strategic planning related to data systems and technology initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, nonprofit management, operations, public administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, office administration, nonprofit administration, project coordination, or related roles.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage operational systems, administrative processes, and organizational logistics effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, virtual meeting platforms, and office technology systems.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
