About the position:
BBK Performance - a leading aftermarket manufacturer of high performance automotive & truck products is looking for a full-time CNC machinist / set-up lead to oversee daily production within our machine department as well as be involved with programming of new products.
Our 50,000ft Temecula facility features state-of-the-art multi-pallet horizontal, vertical & lathe centers, machining a variety of 356 & 6061 aluminum alloy products for our ever-growing product line. Candidates for this management level position must have strong knowledge of all aspects of a CNC machine shop, including light program editing, tooling, and measuring equipment including CMM machines.
Must also have strong hands-on set-up experience to help with daily set-ups, managing other set-up staff as well as machine operators to ensure high-quality standards & specifications are maintained at all times.
Candidates must have a minimum of 7-10 years of CNC lead experience and must have history & experience training and managing team members in a positive work environment that is focused on proper training and individual growth in a team environment.
All tools are supplied.
Must have extensive knowledge of tools, inserts, cutters and other consumables as well as various types of CNC work holdings.
Programming is also required for modifying existing programs, helping to create programs for new products, or moving existing products between machine centers.
Pay rate is between $60,000 base per year as well as bonus options depending on overall level of programming & detailed set-up experience.
