Join Our Team!

The Local OOB is looking for a motivated, dependable, and hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead our front-of-house team. This is a full-time salaried position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced restaurant environment, enjoys leading a team, and takes pride in providing exceptional guest experiences.

Full-time, salaried position
Approximately 50–55 hours per week
Typical schedule is 5 days per week, approximately 12:00 PM–11:00 PM, with two days off (schedule may vary based on business needs).

Responsibilities

Lead and support the front-of-house team during service.
Ensure excellent customer service and a welcoming dining experience.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and restaurant standards.
Coach, train, and motivate staff members.
Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
Assist with scheduling and daily operations.
Coordinate with ownership and the kitchen to ensure smooth service.
Place and manage liquor and beverage orders.
Maintain communication with the owners and chef regarding daily operations.
Be available to answer phone calls and assist with operational issues when needed.
Step in to cover shifts or assist during unexpected staffing shortages.
Help create a positive, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

Restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Reliable, dependable, and accountable.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the busy season.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and lead by example.
