Full Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Support pharmacy operations as a Licensed Pharmacist in a specialty pharmacy setting located in Waseca, MN. This professional role focuses on delivering exceptional care within a Long Term Care environment, working closely with patients and healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and ensure safe pharmaceutical practices.

Contract Details: This opportunity is a contract position spanning 13+ weeks, with a flexible weekly schedule ranging from 24 to 40 hours. Hours are primarily Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional weekend shifts to support patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive pharmacist duties specific to Long Term Care pharmacy services
Ensure accurate dispensing of medications and maintain meticulous patient records
Provide immunizations according to state guidelines and support preventive health initiatives
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy management (MTM)
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and pharmacy policies

Desired Qualifications:

PharmD degree preferred, with active pharmacist licensure
Immunization certification to provide vaccinations confidently
CPR certification to ensure preparedness in emergency situations
Experience or certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM) is advantageous
Strong knowledge of retail and specialty pharmacy operations
