The Bess Agency & Associates of American Family Insurance is looking for a positive, motivated individual to join their championship team as a full time Family Risk Advisor in Park Hills, MO.

Our agency doesn’t just sell. We work as a team toward a common goal of being the best at our jobs. Selling is important, but it is just as important to build relationships with our clients and make sure they are protected.

Sales Related: The Primary role of the Family Risk Advisor is to maintain our current customers. Here are a few of those activities:

Prospect new clients to bring into the agency
Cross-sell while assisting current customers:
Life insurance
Commercial Insurance
Work with customers to use technology and tools that benefit them
Hearsay Texting
AmFam App
Follow up with customers after sales to complete the sales process
Maintain product knowledge for all lines of business and products written
Create brokerage quotes & applications, especially those with Foremost, Vacant Express, and American Modern

Career Paths: There are two potential career paths associated with this position if the performance of the applicant merited progression over time:

1. Line Sales Manager: This person would help build a sales team and be responsible for team sales goals.

2. Future Agency Owner: If you know that you would like to run your own business with your own team but don’t believe you currently have the skills or capital this is a great path. This candidate would seek their own agency (outside of markets we operate in) after a 2 to 3 year mentorship program.

Required Education & Experience

High School Diploma
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
A successful candidate must obtain property & casualty insurance licenses within agreed time of hiring offer (30 Days) & life license (90 days from original hire date)

Compensation & Benefits:

A successful candidate will make over $65,000 with base, commission, and bonus
