About MH EMS Farmington Base:
The MH EMS base covers all of Franklin County. On average, calls are about 80% 911, and the other 20% are IFT. The majority of IFT services go from the MH Franklin Campus to Maine Medical Center Portland but may travel to other facilities as well.
Summary:
The Paramedic role provides both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre-hospital and interfacility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient’s injury or illness in accordance with state and local protocols.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Completion of Paramedic Course required.

License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Paramedic required. Valid Driver’s License required. Current BLS certification required. PIFT Certification required within six months of start date. Locations in New Hampshire require a NH Paramedic License with a National Registry Paramedic License.

Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $25.24 to $34.16 per hour.
Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
