LIVE-IN HOUSEKEEPER / PROPERTY ASSISTANT
Farmington, Missouri – St. Francois County
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking individual for a live-in housekeeping and property-assistant position at a private residence in St. Francois County.
SCHEDULE
- Normally Monday through Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- One hour of combined breaks/lunch each day
- Approximately 20–40 total hours per week
- Hours may vary slightly depending on your schedule and our needs
- Normally two or three days off each week
- Major national holidays off
- Must be punctual and occasionally willing to stay a few minutes late to finish a job
PAY
- Paid hours start at $15 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
- After a 30-day probationary period, we will meet with you to determine your final hourly rate
- Payday is every Friday at the end of your shift
- Your first paycheck will be issued the Friday following your first week
- Checks may be cashed at our bank in Farmington at no charge
- Christmas bonus of $100 or more
LIVE-IN HOUSING
This is a live-on-the-property position. A private one-bedroom apartment is provided in exchange for 17 hours of work each week. All utilities are included.
The apartment is intended for one occupant. You will be responsible only for your personal expenses, such as food, clothing, and transportation.
Any hours worked beyond the 17 weekly housing-exchange hours will be paid at your applicable hourly rate.
JOB DUTIES
You will clean and help maintain a private residence, lodge, apartment, and vehicles as needed. Duties may include:
- Cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms
- Cleaning the kitchen, playroom, and laundry room
- Washing, drying, folding, and putting away laundry
- Cleaning garages, patios, and outdoor living areas
- Cleaning and detailing vehicles
- Organizing rooms, storage areas, and household items
- Deep-cleaning projects
- Completing additional cleaning and property-related tasks as needed

Cleaning experience is preferred but not required for the right person.
LOCATION
The work is located at a private residence in St. Francois County near Farmington, Missouri. You will not live inside the main residence. You will have a separate, private one-bedroom apartment located on the property.
