What You'll Do
As a Lead Technician, you'll be trusted to manage field operations and ensure every installation meets Next Level's standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
You'll:
- Lead installation crews on commercial and residential projects
- Coordinate daily activities with Project Managers and Operations
- Mentor and train Junior Technicians
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot advanced low-voltage systems
- Build and maintain enterprise networks
- Perform system startup, testing, programming, and commissioning
- Identify issues early and develop practical solutions
- Ensure projects remain organized, efficient, and on schedule
- Maintain accurate documentation, job notes, and as-built information
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from start to finish

QualificationsRequired
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- 3+ years of professional low-voltage installation experience
- Strong understanding of IP networking and IPv4 fundamentals
- Experience reading blueprints and construction documents
- Experience leading projects or supervising installation teams
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on ladders or lifts
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as projects require
Preferred
- New Mexico ES-3J, ES-7J, EE98J, or equivalent Journeyman License
- BICSI Certification
- Manufacturer Certifications
- OSHA Training
- Lift Certification
- CPR/First Aid
