Full Job Description

Job Title: Data Support Specialist

Date: 07/29/2026

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Data Support Specialist will be responsible for entering and tracking data in multiple university systems. This position also provides support to faculty, staff, and administrators throughout the university. This position is located on the Fayette Campus.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Enter data in multiple university systems 30%

· Provide support for faculty, staff, and administration 30%

· Use data to assist in planning for all online operations 20%

· Help to develop improved process based on data 20%

· Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:

· Baccalaureate degree preferred

· Data entry experience required

· Customer service experience required

· Experience learning and using multiple software products required

· Experience managing multiple projects at one time preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to sit for extended periods of time working on a computer and keyboard

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Experience with Microsoft Office products required. Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Student Information Systems (SIS) preferred,
