Full Job Description

MOST HAVE EXPERIENCE

Machine Operation & Maintenance:

Operating Blow Molding Machines:

Setting up and adjusting machines, including molds, tooling, and auxiliary equipment.

Monitoring Operations:

Observing machine operations to ensure proper function and quality output, making necessary adjustments as needed.

Troubleshooting:

Identifying and resolving issues with machine performance, including minor repairs and adjustments.

Routine Maintenance:

Performing regular maintenance tasks on blow molding equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.

Following Procedures:

Adhering to established operating manuals, work instructions, and safety procedures.

Cleanliness:

Maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills: Knowledge of blow molding processes, machine operation, and troubleshooting techniques.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and use hand tools and precision measurement tools.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues with machine performance and product quality.
Attention to Detail: Careful observation and attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other team members.
Safety Knowledge: Understanding and adherence to safety procedures and regulations.

Summary

As a Blow Molding Technician, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, focusing on the production of plastic components through blow molding techniques. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards are met. You will utilize your core skills in manufacturing and machining, alongside premium skills in quality inspection and programmable logic controllers, to optimize production efficiency. Your relevant experience with hand tools and lean manufacturing principles will further enhance our team's performance in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
