Customer & Project Coordinator

Backyard Designs NWA – Northwest Arkansas

Backyard Designs NWA is growing, and we're looking for a highly organized, personable, and dependable Customer & Project Coordinator to join our team.

This position will be the central point of communication for our customers and office and will play an important role in keeping projects organized from the time they are sold through completion.

Construction experience is NOT required. We're more interested in finding someone who is great with people, extremely organized, comfortable on the phone, and able to take ownership of their responsibilities.

What You'll Do

Answer incoming calls and provide a great first impression for our customers
Help qualify new customer inquiries and gather basic project information
Schedule sales appointments and maintain calendars
Communicate with existing customers regarding schedules and project updates
Keep customer and project information organized and up to date
Maintain our CRM and help ensure customer follow-ups are completed
Coordinate information between customers, sales, operations, and field crews
Assist with project scheduling and pre-construction coordination
Help track customer selections, permits, paperwork, and other project requirements
Assist with routine material and vendor coordination
Follow up on deposits, progress payments, and outstanding balances
Help identify items that need attention before they become problems

Experience in customer service, office coordination, scheduling, dispatching, property management, construction, home services, medical/dental offices, insurance, or similar environments would be helpful.

Construction experience is a plus, but not required. We can teach the construction side to the right person.

Backyard Designs NWA is an established and growing outdoor living contractor serving Northwest Arkansas. We build decks, sunrooms, patio covers, pergolas, screen rooms, outdoor living spaces, and other residential projects.

We pride ourselves on providing a great customer experience from the first phone call through completion of the project.

Position Details

Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Compensation: Based on experience
