**HIRING HCA-CAREGIVERS FOR THE COARSEGOLD AND OAKHURST AREA**
Dedicated Care In-Home Services is seeking quality and qualified Caregivers/Home Care Aides to help provide assistance to the elderly. Including Veteran clients and Private clients.
**Must be willing to commute and accept shifts in the Coarsegold and Oakhurst area**
Must be physically able to perform the essential functions of the position and assist with Activities of Daily Living including but limited to:
- Experience working one on one with clients providing caregiving services.
- Experience working with Alzheimer's or Dementia Care.
- Experience working with clients who have a heart condition. Understand and know the signs of a heart attack and stroke.
- Experience working with clients that have paralysis.
- Experience working with clients that utilize the Hoyer lift (manual & Electric), Gait belt and slide board. Must be comfortable lifting and transferring clints.
- Provide transportation for Private Clients and *VA Clients.
- Experience providing assistant with dressing and undressing.
- Experience providing assistant with bathing and showering.
- Experience assisting clients with incontinence care.
- Experience assisting clients with hygiene care (hair care/oral care).
- Prepping and preparing hot and cold meals. Assisting with spoon feeding is needed.
- Light housekeeping duties (dusting/cleaning, laundry, floor cleaning, cleaning and sanitizing bathroom and kitchen areas.)
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid Class C California Driver’s License with no serious moving violations and proof of auto insurance.
Must provide 2 forms of ID to fill out an I-9 verification and eligibility form.
Must have current Tuberculosis TB test.
Must have, or willing to obtain, Home Care Aide Number or PERs ID from Guardian/(CDSS)California Department of Social Services. The HCA Registry fee of $35 paid to CDSS
A Livescan to run your background check with the FBI and DOJ is required by the State to obtain clearance to work with the company.
Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English. Proper documentation is required after completion of shifts.
Must have an operative mobile device with the ability to use applications: Generations, Docusign and Paychex's.
We offer additional continuous educational training during your employment using Care Academy working as HCA-Homecare Aid/Caregiver. Initial and Annual training is required and mandated by the State.
DCIHS HCA Caregivers are required to adhere to the Punctuality and Attendance Policy, maintain courteous and respectful attitude with the clients. Maintain open communication with the clients, family members, DCIHS office staff (CSR Team, HR Team and Managment Team)
Two professional references from a manager and/or supervisor is required for your official application with DCIHS.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent after completion of the 90-day introductory period.
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 32 per week

Schedule:
Multiple Shifts to fill:
- 6 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- A Shift: 6:00AM to 2:00PM *Required
- B Shift: 2:00PM to 10:00PM *Preferred
- 7 days per week: Sunday to Saturday
- Overtime as needed
- Open to work weekends
Experience:
- In-Home Caregiving: 6 months minimum (Required)
