reVIBE Mental Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatrist (MD or DO) to join our growing behavioral health organization as our Medical Director while maintaining a flexible outpatient psychiatry practice.

This is a unique opportunity for a physician who enjoys both leadership and patient care. You'll help shape the clinical direction of a rapidly growing outpatient behavioral health organization while continuing to build meaningful relationships with patients through medication management and psychiatric evaluations.

reVIBE Mental Health is a growing outpatient behavioral health organization with multiple Arizona locations providing therapy, psychiatry, medication management, addiction treatment, and innovative behavioral health services. Our mission is to improve access to high-quality, evidence-based mental health care while creating an outstanding environment for both patients and providers.

Position Summary

The Medical Director serves as the physician leader for psychiatric services across the organization while maintaining a part-time outpatient psychiatry schedule.

Administrative Medical Director responsibilities average 10–15 hours per month, allowing you to continue providing patient care on a schedule that works for you.

ResponsibilitiesMedical Director Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and oversight of psychiatric services across multiple clinic locations.
Lead and support psychiatric providers and interdisciplinary treatment teams.
Facilitate quarterly Medical Executive Committee meetings.
Participate in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
Participate in treatment team meetings.
Complete monthly provider peer reviews.
Support regulatory compliance with Arizona, Medicare, Medicaid (AHCCCS), DEA, and commercial payer requirements.
Assist with utilization review and payer strategy.
Support provider education, mentorship, and clinical development.
Assist with development and expansion of psychiatric and behavioral health services.
Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic initiatives.
Provide incident-to supervision when appropriate.
Participate in community outreach and referral development.

Outpatient Psychiatry

Conduct psychiatric evaluations.
Provide medication management services.
Collaborate closely with therapists and behavioral health providers.
Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered psychiatric care.

QualificationsRequired

MD or DO with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
Active, unrestricted Arizona medical license.
Active DEA registration.
Eligible for credentialing with Medicare, AHCCCS, and commercial insurance plans.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred

Previous Medical Director or physician leadership experience.
Experience in outpatient behavioral health.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and accreditation.
Experience leading multidisciplinary behavioral health teams.

CompensationMedical Director

Starting stipend of $5,000 per month (negotiable based on experience).

Outpatient Psychiatry

Separate productivity-based compensation for outpatient psychiatric services.

Estimated Total Monthly Compensation

Physicians providing approximately one day per week of outpatient patient care in addition to Medical Director responsibilities can reasonably expect total monthly compensation of approximately $12,000–15,000+, depending on patient volume and scheduling.
