Qualifications:
- EPA Certified (required)
- HVAC License Holder (preferred)
- Master's Level Install or Service Technician
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift equipment
- Ability to get into crawlspaces, attics, and tight spaces regularly
- High quality leadership and communication skills and experience
- Because this position supports field, warehouse and office operations and requires quick response to install emergencies, candidates must reside close enough to reliably respond to our base of operations in Boone, NC, regardless of weather, within approximately 30–45 minutes.
You'll be working directly under the General Manager & Owner as the head of Install for the entire company. You will be responsible for managing the warehouse and install team, quality control, team development, department culture, department growth, conflict resolution with employees and customers, financial stewardship, and upholding our mission, values, and vision within the install department. Your team consists of:
- Install/Sales Coordinator (managed by the Office Manager)
- Field Supervisor
- 2 Journeyman Lead Install Techs (one with gas piping experience)
- 1 Journeyman Helper
- 1 Apprentice Helper
This position is supported by a collaborative management team consisting of the general manager and office manager. Our management team does not operate in a silo'd way. Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
