Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in fine dining and a strong understanding of food management and restaurant operations. As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food preparation, and maintaining a positive work atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Assist the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, including shift management and supervising kitchen staff.
Ensure that all food is prepared according to recipes and standards for quality, presentation, and taste.
Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items that enhance the dining experience.
Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food service standards, and safety protocols.
Manage inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Help coordinate banquet services and special events, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality meals.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within a fine dining restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of food management practices, including food handling and safety regulations.
Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
Experience in restaurant management is preferred, with an understanding of kitchen operations.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.
Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
