Registered Nurse – Emergency Services- Mid Shift

Emergency Services Unit:

Our Emergency Services unit specializes in providing direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Patients on this unit may include Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Supervises nursing and support staff during assigned shifts and ensures safe, quality care. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

How you’ll contribute

You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
Documents patient care provided. Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

What we’re looking for:

Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include:

Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
. BCLS required
ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred; must be obtained within 30 days of employment. Two-three years of experience preferred, but new grads welcomed to apply.

Schedule: 3 x 12 7:00PM- 7:00AM
