Full Job Description

Does not require ENLISTMENT into the U.S. Army

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ needs, including child welfare, behavioral health, and family dynamics
Develop personalized care plans that incorporate child & family services, crisis intervention, and conflict management strategies
Provide crisis management and crisis intervention support during emergencies or high-stress situations
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate social services and ensure comprehensive client care
Support families through child protective services, working with culturally diverse communities to respect individual backgrounds
Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, service plans, and progress reports using Microsoft Office tools
Offer guidance on legal matters such as family law when applicable, ensuring clients understand their rights and options

Requirements

Proven experience working with children, families, or individuals with disabilities in a social work or related setting
Knowledge of child welfare laws, child & family services, and high-risk population support protocols
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage clients from diverse backgrounds
Excellent writing skills for accurate documentation and report writing
Certification in CPR and First Aid; experience with behavioral health interventions preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for case management and record keeping
Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve multicultural communities effectively
Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy while managing conflict and behavioral health crises confidently
