Job Description

Work effectively as part of the overall faculty team, demonstrating positive relations and collaboration. Participates in program evaluation activities. Maintains academic standards and course expectations. Provides feedback to students and communicates with the Dean of Nursing. Utilizes course material effectively and demonstrates a thorough knowledge of content. Utilizes multiple teaching methods and techniques. Provides clinical instruction.

Location: Fortis Cincinnati

Requirements:

At least 3 years in practice as a registered nurse. An active, unencumbered license in OH or a multistate license. Previous higher education/postsecondary teaching experience is preferred but not required. Functional ability to carry out classroom, clinical, and laboratory teaching responsibilities. Candidates must possess an MSN degree to teach didactic courses; a BSN is required for clinicals.

Pay:

Full-time is salaried up to $93K/yr
Part-time is paid an hourly rate up to $50/hr

Pay: Up to $93,000.00 per year

Experience:

Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
Nursing: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

RN (Required)

Work Location: In person
