Our downtown hotel is looking for shining front desk superstars, who can create a luminous atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors. The hotel front desk agent is often the first person to interact with guests, providing exceptional customer service. As the friendly face of the property, the front desk agent has a relatable personality and a great desire to work with people. In addition, the front desk agent is responsible for communicating in a welcoming and efficient manner, while ensuring that guests' needs are properly addressed.
This role is perfect for anyone needing flexible hours. This position could be part-time or full-time depending on your schedule.

Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process
- Manage hotel reservations using property management systems (PMS) such as PEP or similar platforms
- Handle guest inquiries via multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to address guest needs promptly
- Assist with night audit procedures when working overnight shifts to ensure financial accuracy and reporting
- Enforce hotel emergency procedures confidently and efficiently during incidents or safety concerns
- Maintain detailed records of guest interactions, requests, and complaints to support exceptional guest relations
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality and customer service with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Experience with hospitality reservation systems such as PEP or property management systems (PMS)
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including night audit procedures and front desk functions
- Excellent phone communication skills, including multi-line phone system operation and phone etiquette
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and guest safety protocols
- Proven problem-solving skills in customer service scenarios, demonstrating patience and professionalism
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Resort or hotel experience preferred, especially in guest relations and front desk roles
