Health Insurance Sales Agent – Entry Level Welcome | Boca Raton

Odyssey Insurance Agency · Boca Raton, FL 33432 · In person · Full-time

$12.50/hr + $25/front to start No experience required Mon–Thu 10am–6pm · Fri 10am–5pm

Monday – Thursday: 10:00am – 6:00pm

Friday: 10:00am – 5:00pm

Odyssey Insurance Agency is a growing health insurance brokerage in Boca Raton actively building our sales team. We're looking for motivated people — entry level or experienced — who are ready to build a real career in one of the most in-demand industries in the country.

What you'll actually do

You'll help individuals and families find the best health insurance options available to them — from ACA marketplace plans to private coverage. We provide the leads. Your job is to listen, understand what people need, and walk them through their options.

Work warm, provided leads daily — no cold calling, no door knocking
Qualify prospects and guide them through ACA and private plan options in plain language
Hand off to a licensed agent to close, or close yourself once you're licensed
Follow up with prospects and support them through enrollment
Hit weekly targets with your manager and team around you every day

No insurance license yet? No problem. We cover the full cost of your Florida 2-15 Health & Life license and walk you through the process from day one. You don't need it before you start.

How you get paid — two clear phases

No surprises, no fine print. Here's exactly how it works:

Phase 1

Fronter

$12.50/hour guaranteed
$25 bonus for every policy written from your front
No license required to start
Begin earning bonuses from week one

Phase 2

Licensed Agent

$500/week draw or full commission — whichever is higher
We front your 2-15 license, carrier appointments & state contracts
No payback deduction — ever
Keep 100% of your earnings from day one as a licensed agent

What does Phase 1 actually look like in your pocket? A standard week at $12.50/hr is $500 before bonuses. Most new fronters hit 5–10 closed fronts per week within their first month.

5 fronts/week: $500 base + $125 in front bonuses = $625/week

8 fronts/week: $500 base + $200 in front bonuses = $700/week

10 fronts/week: $500 base + $250 in front bonuses = $750/week

Your hourly rate is guaranteed regardless. Front bonuses stack on top every week.

What we're looking for

At least 1 year of work experience in any field wanted, but not required — sales, retail, food service, customer service, anything
Full availability Mon–Thu 10am–6pm and Fri 10am–5pm — this is a firm requirement
Motivated by income — you want your effort to show up in your paycheck
Coachable — you take feedback and apply it
Comfortable and confident talking to people on the phone
Reliable — you show up every day, ready to work
Eligible to work in the U.S.

Prior experience in insurance, real estate, auto sales, solar, or any commission-based role is a strong plus — but attitude and hunger matter more than your resume.
