Full Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Advance your career in medical imaging by contributing your MRI expertise in a dynamic clinical environment. We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract opportunity. This role focuses on providing high-quality imaging services that enable precise diagnosis and optimal patient care.

Schedule:

Second Shift
Monday to Thursday, 1:00 pm to 11:00 pm

Qualifications:

Current ARRT (MR) credential or equivalent state licensure
Proven experience operating MRI technology and equipment
Strong understanding of imaging protocols, anatomy, and safety procedures
Ability to accurately position patients and provide clear instructions
Proficiency in managing electronic health records and PACS
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Compassionate approach to patient care and comfort

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine and specialized MRI scans following physician instructions
Ensure patient safety by adhering to safety guidelines and screening protocols
Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images while ensuring their comfort
Monitor MRI equipment for proper functioning and maintain cleanliness
Accurately record patient records, procedure details, and technical factors
Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare staff
Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and escalate as needed
Educate patients and their families about the MRI process, addressing concerns and reducing anxiety
