Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a Quality Manager to oversee our quality assurance and quality control processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance . This position requires a strong understanding of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and the ability to lead a team effectively. We are looking for a person who may be stepping up from a Quality Engineering role to a management role or someone who has a few years of experience in managing quality assurance in an automotive stamping plant

Responsibilities

Maintain quality management systems in accordance with IATF 16949-2016
Conduct regular quality audits to ensure compliance with internal policies.
Oversee the development and execution of quality control procedures to monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in product quality and operational efficiency.
Manage project timelines related to quality initiatives and ensure timely completion of all projects.
Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices,
Analyze data from quality audits and SPC data inspections to identify trends and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics for senior management review.
Understanding all print specifications, measurements, and fit/form/function of products

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Quality Assurance or Engineering
Proven experience in QA/QC roles within an automotive supplier manufacturing environment.
Communicate and liaise with customers through calls, emails and customer portals
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in identifying issues and implementing solutions with other team members.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with various departments and present findings clearly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
