Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Wedding Coordinator to join our dynamic events team. In this pivotal role, you will support the planning and execution of beautiful weddings, ensuring every detail aligns with our clients’ visions and expectations. Your enthusiasm for hospitality, exceptional organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks will help create unforgettable experiences for couples and their guests. Duties

Assist in coordinating all aspects of wedding events, from initial planning to day-of execution, ensuring seamless operations.
Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members to confirm details, negotiate contracts, and facilitate smooth collaboration.
Support event marketing efforts by promoting services through social media, email campaigns, and other channels to attract new clients.
Manage event budgets by tracking expenses, processing invoices, and ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Utilize event management software and CRM systems to organize client information, schedules, and vendor contacts efficiently.
Oversee guest services and hospitality arrangements, including catering coordination, banquet setup, and guest accommodations.
Lead on-site during wedding days to oversee logistics, troubleshoot issues promptly, and ensure a memorable experience for all attendees.

Qualifications

Proven experience in event planning or hospitality industries such as hotels, restaurants, or catering services.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell services and negotiate contracts effectively.
Excellent communication and customer service skills to build lasting relationships with clients and vendors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software and CRM systems.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional organizational skills.
Experience in banquet operations or guest services within the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
Knowledge of catering operations, restaurant service standards, or hotel event management enhances your suitability for this role.
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as required for wedding events.
