Position Overview
Technica is seeking a highly motivated Equipment Field Service Technician to install, service, and support capital equipment used in PCB and PCBA manufacturing environments. This role is responsible for equipment installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and rebuilds at customer sites. The ideal candidate is hands-on, self-directed, customer-focused, and operates with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and qualify equipment at semiconductor and high-tech customer sites, and provide customer training.
- Provide on-site technical support, including equipment upgrades, troubleshooting, and process improvement. Perform equipment testing, calibration, and root cause analysis to ensure optimal system performance.
Required Skills & Abilities
- New graduates are welcome (0–2 years of experience)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
- Equivalent technical training or relevant hands-on experience will also be considered
- Eligibility to work in the United States or willingness to relocate is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience servicing Wise equipment
Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs.
- Must be able to push/pull 200 lbs.
- Must be able to move/ manipulate equipment weighing up to 1000 lbs. with the assistance of carts, pallet jacks, equipment skates or other devices as required.
- Job requires frequent bending, stooping, twisting, turning, and working in unusual positions requiring full body mobility.
- Must be able to work safely and follow safety precautions in all environments (temperature, humidity, noise, confined spaces, etc.) around potentially dangerous industrial equipment.
