Optometrist

Location: Corona, CA 92882(In-Person)

Job Type: Contractor

Pay: $600 base per diem plus volume bonus - ($15 per exam over the average set goal, calculated monthly)

Schedule: Part-Time Contract — Monday and Friday availability required

About OroSight

OroSight is patient-centered, delivering preventive vision programs and services inside local clinics. We partner with health centers to advance health equity through integrated, prevention-first care, ensuring every patient receives high-quality, accessible vision services.

Quick Highlights

This is a Part-Time Contract position. Candidates must be available to work in-clinic specifically on Mondays and Fridays.
Provide preventive vision programs to a local clinic

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive eye exams and preventive vision assessments in-clinic
Prescribe vision correction and provide medical eye care recommendations
Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and follow-up treatments
Work closely with clinic staff to ensure high-quality care and smooth patient workflow
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to regulatory compliance
Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and platforms effectively
Provide input on clinical protocols and process improvements

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited program
Active California Optometrist License (or equivalent)
Enrollment with Medi-Cal (required)
Demonstrated experience in primary eye care and preventive services
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently

Preferred (Not Required):

Therapeutically certified
Glaucoma certified
Experience with complex eye conditions and preventive programs
