Job Summary
Primary duty is the performance of office, non-manual work directly related to the management and general business operations of the agency, the exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance.
OBJECTIVE: To oversee all aspects of services to individuals and to ensure agency compliance with all Federal and State licensing regulations also mandate quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Qualifications:
* Meet QDDP status as established by state regulations,
. Must have at least a Bachelor Degree in a human service field, and or related field
. Possess a valid VA Driver’ license,
. Have current behavior management, CPR, 1st Aid, medication management training
(including insulin), management experiences and experience in intellectual or
developmental disabilities or related field,
. Must maintain a good driving record, drug free and have a clean criminal and Social
Services background check.
Duties
- Maintain client records according to regulations and standards
- Complete all ISPs & written reports for individuals according to their CSP date
- Conduct quarterly record reviews for each client
- Assist in screening referrals
- General research related to development and activities for programs
- Any other duties as assigned to assist the agency in its mission
- Will assist in providing self-help skills training and therapeutic treatments to individuals with developmental and/or physical disability. Will provide direct care to individuals receiving services at Favored Services Day Support and ensuring the health, safety and well-being of the individual.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA.
- Responsible for managing new training and retaining staff according to individual support needs.
- Responsible for operations in WaMS and individual Plans.
- Sit at the executive meetings.
Experience
- Proven experience in team management, demonstrating the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
- Strong background in project coordination with a focus on requirements management and gathering.
- Familiarity with content management systems and tools such as Basecamp is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAFe framework and other project management methodologies is a plus.
- Experience in managing a portfolio of projects within a dynamic environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with strong analytical skills to assess project performance.
