Position: Head of Human Resources
Location: Spartanburg, SC
Pay: $100,000/yr. DOE
1. Strategic HR Leadership
- Ability to lead the full HR function for entire region
- Ability to align people’s strategy with business objectives
2. Employee Relations Expertise
- Strong background handling employee relations issues, investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Ability to build trust with employees and managers while maintaining compliance and consistency
3. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Experience recruiting salaried and hourly employees
- Ability to support succession planning and organizational development
- Comfortable managing immigration-related processes and specialized hiring
4. Compensation & Benefits Knowledge
- Experience with salary administration, merit reviews, market benchmarking, and incentive programs
- Understanding of benefit plans and employee communications

- Experience with payroll (iSolved a plus), reporting, and workforce analytics

- Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations
- Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Oversee safety training, risk assessments, emergency preparedness, and reporting
8. Payroll
- Manage and ensure the accurate and timely processing of multi-state payroll
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of employee payroll data

Ideal Candidate Snapshot:
Title: Head of Human Resources / HR Director
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; Master's preferred
Language: Fluent in English and Portuguese
Experience: 5–10+ years progressive HR experience with at least 5 years in senior HR leadership
Preferred Certifications: SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent
