We provide installation, maintenance, repair, and subcontracting services for automated material-handling and electric machinery systems, working with equipment from leading manufacturers such as E80, Crown, Toyota, Raymond, and Jungheinrich. The Role
We're looking for a hands-on Field Service / Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated material-handling and industrial equipment at customer sites. You'll spend most of your time working directly on the equipment — diagnosing faults, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and keeping systems running at peak reliability. This is a field-service role with travel to client facilities across the United States and Canada.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance on automated material-handling and electric machinery systems
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control (PLC) faults and restore performance quickly
- Install and commission new equipment per approved plans
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Document maintenance activities and system performance
- Follow all site safety rules and use appropriate PPE
- Communicate professionally with client teams and report anomalies
What We're Looking For
- Experience in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, electromechanical systems, or field service (material-handling or automation equipment preferred)
- Solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills; PLCs, sensors, motors, and drives a plus
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics
- Willingness to travel across the U.S. and Canada; valid driver's license and passport (or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong safety mindset, dependability, and good communication
- Technical degree/certification or equivalent hands-on experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
What We Offer
- $30–$42/hour DOE (FLSA non-exempt)
- Paid overtime at time-and-a-half (1.5×) for hours over 40/week
- Paid travel expenses and per diem on out-of-town assignments
