Front Desk Coordinator
Brilliant Smiles & Implants — Grovetown, GA (Augusta area)
Full-Time (32–35 hrs/week)

About Us

Brilliant Smiles & Implants is a hybrid fee-for-service dental practice built on one standard: excellence isn't the goal, it's the only option. We're a independently owned practice — not a corporate office — and we're looking for a Front Desk Coordinator who sets the tone for every patient's experience from the first phone call.

What You'll Do

Answer phones and manage a high volume of patient calls with professionalism and warmth
Verify insurance benefits and eligibility, and clearly communicate coverage/financial information to patients
Schedule and confirm appointments, manage the daily schedule
Greet and check patients in/out
Maintain accurate patient records and front office documentation using Open Dental
Present financial arrangements to patients (especially for out-of-pocket major treatment)
Collect payments, process financing applications (CareCredit, Sunbit, etc.)
File and follow up on insurance claims for exams, X-rays, and prophy
Verify insurance benefits and eligibility before appointments
Manage patient communications: reminders, reviews requests, birthday/thank-you touches
Oversee day-to-day operations and scheduling to support clinical success
Support compliance: OSHA logs, HIPAA processes, licensing renewals
Track and report basic financial metrics (daily production, collections, AR aging)

What We're Looking For

MUST HAVE 3+ years of DENTAL front desk experience — required, this is non-negotiable
Open Dental experience preferred (or strong ability to learn new PMS quickly)
Office manager or administrative background preferred (Previous office managers encouraged to apply & discuss, pay based on experience)
Quick learner who can adapt fast and pick up new systems/processes with minimal hand-holding
Solutions-oriented — someone who problem-solves instead of just flagging issues
Skilled at de-escalating tense or frustrated patient situations with calm and tact
Strong phone presence and communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
Comfortable having financial/insurance conversations with patients
Reliable, responsible, and committed — this practice runs on people who show up
An ownership mentality is strongly preferred; we're looking for someone who treats this practice like it's theirs, not just a job
A team player with the capacity to grow into broader patient care coordination and office management responsibilities as the role develops

Schedule & Compensation

Approximately 32–35 hours/week
We do accommodate vacation time (unpaid) and offer an in-house dental benefit and holiday bonuses
