Seeking a Strategic Cost Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities for the Strategic Cost Accounting Manager:

Lead and develop the cost accounting team while creating a culture focused on accountability, analysis, and continuous improvement.
Oversee all cost accounting operations within a complex manufacturing environment.
Establish and enhance standard costing methodologies that improve cost visibility and support business decision-making.
Provide strategic cost analysis and profitability insights to executive leadership.
Drive improvements in financial reporting systems, cost analytics, and operational performance measurement.
Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify opportunities for efficiency, margin improvement, and long-term value creation.
Translate large, complex datasets into actionable recommendations that support business strategy and organizational objectives.
Serve as a strategic advisor by delivering insights that influence operational, financial, and investment decisions.

Expectations for the Strategic Cost Accounting Manager:

Be the organization's subject matter expert for manufacturing cost accounting and cost management strategy.
Deliver actionable insights that improve profitability, operational performance, and informed decision-making.

Qualifications for the Strategic Cost Accounting Manager:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
10+ years of finance, accounting, or related experience, including at least 6 years within a manufacturing environment.
5+ years of leadership experience and 5+ years of analytical and process improvement experience.
MBA, master's degree, and/or CMA certification preferred.
Experience utilizing PowerBi is highly preferred
