Full Job Description

DERMATOLOGY PRACTICE IN SE MASSACHUSETTS IS LOOKING TO HIRE AN OFFICE MANAGER.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

ENSURING DAY TO DAY WORKFLOW IS STAFFED AND RUNS SMOOTHLY
TRAINING OF ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT STAFF
CREDENTIALLING OF PROVIDERS WITH INSURANCE COMPANIES
ENFORCING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES THAT ALIGN WITH REGULATORY, PRIVACY REQUIREMENTS AND WORKPLACE INITIATIVES
MIPS REPORTING
PERFORM ALL ASPECTS OF MEDICAL BILLING
MANAGING EMPLOYEE HOURS AND PROCESSING PAYROLL
BOOKKEEPING IN COLLABORATION WITH ACCOUNTING
COLLABORATING WITH EHR AND TECH SUPPORT TEAMS

QUALIFICATIONS:

EHR PROFICIENCY AND GENERAL COMPUTER SKILLS (E.G. QUICKBOOKS, EXCEL, WORD).
WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF eCLINICALWORKS A PLUS
3-5 YEARS OF FULL CYCLE MEDICAL BILLING
STRONG COMMUNICATION AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS TO INTERACT EFFECTIVELY WITH PATIENTS, STAFF AND PROVIDERS
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN MEDICAL OFFICE MANANGEMENT OR HEALTH CARE ADMINISTRATION PREFERABLY DERMATOLOGY OR A RELATED SPECIALTY
EXPERIENCE WITH MEDICAL BILLING, INSURANCE VERIFICATION AND HIPPA COMPLIANCE
ASSOCIATE’S OR BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN BUSINESS, ACCOUNTING OR HEALTH CARE ADMINISTRATION IS PREFERRED

SALARY COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE. BENEFITS INCLUDE PAID TIME OFF/SICK DAYS, HEALTH AND PROFIT SHARING PLANS.
