Job Summary

We are looking for a driven and tech-oriented IT Intern to support the configuration, upkeep, and troubleshooting of Point-of-Sale (POS) systems at Concession Stands during events held at Texas A&M University. This opportunity is well-suited forstudents majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines who are eager to gain practicalexperience in a dynamic, fast-paced, and customer-focused setting.

Responsibilities:

Support the setup, configuration, and testing of POS hardware and software at concession locations.
Serve as the initial point of contact for technical support to concession staff during events.
Organize and maintain the conditions of the pos and cabling within concession stands.
Actively monitor POS operations and address hardware or software issues promptly.
Conduct routine maintenance, software updates, and troubleshoot connections for POS terminals, printers, and networksystems.
Assist with tracking, organizing, and documenting all POS equipment inventory.
Collaborate with the IT team to escalate and help resolve advanced technical problems.
Aid in training staff on basic POS usage and troubleshooting techniques.
