Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled 2nd shift Tool & Die Maker to build, repair, and maintain custom dies, and fixtures. You will translate blueprints into precision tools that keep our production lines running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze blueprints and CAD designs to plan the layout and sequence of operations.
- Operate manual machines (mills, lathes, grinders) to craft parts with tight tolerances.
- Inspect finished components using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure exact dimensions.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues on the production floor and perform rapid repairs to minimize downtime on progressive dies & hand transfer dies.
- Assemble and align complex die components, using hand tools for final fitting and polishing.
HOURS: 2:30pm-Midnight, Monday-Thursday. Overtime as needed.
