About Us

Landmark Realty Group and Landmark Vacation Rentals are trusted leaders serving Cashiers, Sapphire, Highlands, and Lake Glenville, North Carolina. Our team includes approximately 10 real estate brokers and a vacation rental portfolio of more than 80 properties.

We're looking for a creative, organized, and self-motivated marketing professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats. This role combines digital marketing, branding, content creation, agent support, and strategic planning. Every day looks a little different, and we're looking for someone who thrives in that environment.

Position Summary

The Marketing Manager will oversee and execute the company's marketing efforts across both the real estate and vacation rental businesses. This individual will work closely with the General Manager, brokers, vacation rental staff, and outside vendors to ensure consistent branding, effective marketing campaigns, and continued growth across multiple channels.

This position requires a balance of creativity, technical ability, organization, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Primary Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Content

Maintain and update company websites using WordPress
Create and publish blog articles, landing pages, and website content
Update website imagery and copy as needed
Develop and manage the company social media strategy
Build and maintain an editorial content calendar
Regularly post listings, pending sales, closings, company news, and community content
Create engaging photo and video content for social media
Monitor analytics and recommend improvements based on performance

Real Estate Agent Marketing

Meet individually with brokers to develop and execute personal marketing plans
Assist agents with listing marketing and branding materials
Provide guidance on social media, video creation, and personal branding
Conduct regular marketing and technology training sessions
Serve as a resource for basic technology and marketing questions

Creative Design

Design print and digital marketing materials
Create advertisements for local publications
Maintain brochures, listing packets, signage, and other collateral
Coordinate production with printers, mailing companies, and outside vendors
Ensure consistent branding across all platforms

Vacation Rental Marketing

Partner with vacation rental staff to market available properties
Develop email marketing campaigns targeting guests and prospective homeowners
Create social media content promoting vacation rentals and the owner program
Identify new opportunities to increase bookings and owner acquisition

Photography & Video

Visit listings, open houses, company events, and local businesses to capture content
Photograph and film marketing assets
Edit videos for social media, website, and advertising
Assist with broker video content when appropriate

Strategy & Planning

Assist the General Manager with annual marketing planning and budgeting
Stay informed on industry trends and competitor marketing
Research new tools, platforms, and marketing opportunities
Recommend creative ideas to strengthen Landmark's brand and visibility
Track campaign performance and provide regular reporting
Ensure compliance with applicable real estate laws and rules
Implement the company’s visual identity and brand throughout all materials

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
3+ years of marketing experience preferred
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and self-directed
Comfortable collaborating with a variety of personalities
Ability to work independently while managing deadlines

Technical Skills

Experience with many (not necessarily all) of the following:

WordPress CMS
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Video editing software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube)
Photography and videography
Google Analytics
SEO best practices
Paid digital advertising (Google Ads and/or Meta Ads)
Email marketing platforms (Mailchimp or similar CRM)
MAXA Design platform (preferred)
Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Project management software (Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or similar)

Preferred Experience

Real estate marketing

Personal branding strategy

Training or coaching professionals
Local knowledge of the Cashiers-Highlands Plateau is a plus

Other Requirements

Reliable transportation
Willingness to travel throughout the Cashiers, Sapphire, Highlands, and Lake Glenville areas for listings, events, and content creation
Some evening and weekend work for events or open houses may occasionally be required
