Full Job Description

The Inn at SilverCreek resort is looking for a relief Night Auditor to work the overnight front desk shift. The Night Auditor responsibilities include checking in guests, answering the phones and making walk in reservations. The schedule will be 5 days a week and will vary from an 11 PM to 7AM shift as well as coverage for 3PM - 11PM on various days. Flexibility is a must.

The Night Auditor conducts all night audit functions for several properties within the company's portfolio such as closing the day, running all reports, posting charges and credits and making all necessary adjustments to the daily ledgers responsibilities

Check in guests, answer phones and make reservations.
Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies.
Determine that the day's posting to accounts are accurate and in agreement with the supporting records.
Compiles all requested audit reports and uploads to appropriate accounts.
Reconciles and closes daily credit card accounts and transactions.
Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts.

Skills

Experience and training in accounting procedures; helpful to have night audit experience, or some equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have good mathematical skills and understand the process of balancing reports.
Good problem-solving and strong customer service skills.
The ability to multitask
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Availability to work overnight
Must be able to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
